Associated Learning & Language Specialists (ALLS, Inc.)

Infant Developmental Program
  • For infants up to 3 years old.
  • 2-3 hours per day, 2-5 days per week, depending on need.
  • Structured environment facilitating language and play-based developmental therapy.

Our programs offer a multi-disciplinary approach to targeting speech, language, pragmatic/social skills, sensory integration, and motor deficits within a highly structured classroom environment. Our classes are taught by state licensed and ASHA certified Speech & Language Pathologists, Early Intervention Specialists, Developmental Therapists, and registered Occupational Therapists.

Each child's individual goals are incorporated within a small, supportive group environment. The group goals areas include:

  • receptive and expressive language
  • articulation
  • auditory processing
  • social skills
  • play skills
  • sensory integration
  • cognitive development
  • academics

Our programs are structured so they incorporate many important activities such as:

  1. Facilitated play
  2. Individual Skill Development
  3. Pre Academic (academics at appropriate developmental levels, music, art, computer instruction)
  4. Theme related language activities
  5. Outside play (gross motor and interactive games)
  6. OT time (visual perceptual)
  7. Story Time (sequencing, auditory memory)

Interactions between children and staff provide opportunities for children to develop and understanding of self and others and are characterized by warmth, personal respect, individuality, positive support, and responsiveness. Our staff facilitate interactions among children to provide opportunities for development of self-esteem, social competence, and intellectual growth.

Our programs encourages children to be actively involved in the learning process, to experience a variety of developmentally appropriate activities and materials, and to pursue their own interests in the context of life in the community and the world.
