Our behaviorally based developmental therapy program is built upon using therapeutic instructional methods to increase skill in learning and in the following domains:

• sensory motor skills
• behavior
• receptive and expressive language
• cognitive skills
• self-help
• social skills
• play
• fine and gross motor

Specific developmental skills are assessed and goals are set based on the child's individual development needs. Goals are consistently modified, moving children up the developmental ladder to achieve integration, generalization and functional success of skills in the child's most natural environment.

This focus on teaching small, measurable units until success is achieved has proved successful. The particular techniques, learning strategies, possible compensation or cueing methods used are based on the individual child's learning style. This may include Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), visual cueing, sign language, augmentative communication systems, to name a few. To develop and implement a program this comprehensive multidisciplinary team is needed for assessment, therapy or periodic follow up. ALLS provides in-home one-on-one services and has multiple convenient office locations around the San Francisco Bay Area.
